The Moving Force Behind Breathe Integrative

Owner, Mindy Ceaser

With over 20 years of experience in the field of alternative health, I am dedicated to creating comprehensive wellness experiences that nurture both the body and mind. My expertise encompasses a variety of modalities including massage therapy, emotional release techniques, craniosacral therapy, and meditation. Additionally, I use therapeutic grade essential oils to enhance emotional balance and physical well-being.

Art and jewelry also play a significant role in my approach, serving as avenues for self-expression and creativity. By integrating these diverse practices, I aim to support our community in achieving a harmonious and healthy lifestyle. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, emotional healing, or a deeper connection to yourself, I am here to guide you on your journey. Taking the first step towards better health is easy with me. Schedule your appointment today to ensure you receive the care you deserve.

I truly believe in the power of holistic practices. I am currently looking to expand and incorporate different bodywork modalities including yoga and movement therapy sessions, to promote both physical health and mental clarity. Our History

Trained in Asheville, NC, in 2003 at The Center For Massage & Natural Health, I embarked on my journey in integrative therapy with a passion for healing and wellness.  I was fortunate enough to be mentored under some of Asheville’s most sought-after bodywork therapists who introduced the ideas that would become integral for my practice, client care, and self-care.

I started out working for other established companies based in Asheville.  I was hired to travel locally but also to other cities, states, and occasionally countries to care for a multitude of people in a variety of circumstances.  Not only did I get to experience a lot of different settings to work in, but I had the unique opportunity to work as a part of a family of therapists and health practitioners.

This supportive network helped to take my understanding of bodywork and the mind/body connection to a much deeper level—so much faster than I had anticipated. As a result, I now seek to create this same ‘care environment’ wherever I can - with the intention of nurturing both healers and people seeking healing.

Eventually I found myself moving back to my hometown, Marshalltown, IA.  There, I began to build my own community centered around holistic practices and support.  After several quiet years renting a small space from a good friend, I decided it was time to reach out to others in alternative therapy to see if something bigger might be built to support each other and our community.

In 2015, Breathe Integrative Therapy was opened, focusing on holistic healthcare to better self-awareness, physical and mental health, and ease of movement— which all starts with the simple act of breathing.

My hope was that by bringing several therapists together under one roof, we might create a kind of alternative therapy, one-stop-shop that would create a beautiful setting for client healing while also supporting our therapists with a family of colleagues.  It was immediately successful.

In 2019, my family and I made the decision to embark on a new adventure to Roanoke, VA. Here, I am bringing my passion for wellness and ALL of the lessons learned with me.

I’ve continued to foster connections and strive to offer therapeutic services tailored to individual needs. This journey has been filled with growth, learning, and a commitment to helping others find balance and well-being in their lives by also being committed to finding it in my own.  It is my hope that Breathe will continue to expand by welcoming new therapists, healing modalities, and clients in every walk of life.
